The centerpiece of this privately owned park is the National Museum of the Civil War Soldier featuring interactive galleries highlighting soldier life in camp and in battle. Other park features include a restored 1812 plantation house, a preserved section of the Confederate Petersburg defenses and a walking tour covering the site of the April 2, 1865, Union breakthrough.
