J.E.B. Stuart's plumed hat, Armistead's Gettysburg sword and countless other Civil War artifacts are exhibited here. Special sections highlight various aspects of soldier and civilian life in the Confederacy. The Confederate "White House," home to Jefferson Davis and his family during the war, has been restored to its wartime appearance and is open for tours.

Open daily 10 am–5 pm. $10/adult (museum only), $18/adult (museum and White House tour).
